About David... Photographer/Director

Life begins... a small gold mining town approximately 50 km's South West of SA's Capital Johannesburg. January 2010, 40 Years later and here I stand, ready to continue my journey.

David's transformation from part time freelance photographer to full time photo professional has begun and after 4 years of working successfully with a number of high street corporate clients, that cumulative push has begun.

Ever since I picked up my first SLR almost 20 years ago I knew that one day I would be fortunate enough to follow my artistic/creative side and get to do what I so love as my career path, how lucky am I? David's natural creative talent is mainly self taught, however he has an excellent technical ability acquired through a National Certification and sheer determination to succeed.

New Beginnings

After almost a decade of working in IT Network Security David decided to once again wield his weapon of choice, this time in anger. Without thinking he had told someone that he was a professional photographer and could do a 20 person Prom shoot with studio equipment... he was hired. After extensive research, a budget DSLR and borrowed studio equipment arrived at the venue, I was terrified! I still have my very first portrait picture of that day framed and often look at it. lol. Well as they say that's all history and David is currently one of Bristol's most dynamic and versatile photographers.
